Hours Time Tracking app good for

I do not use this sort of app usually as most interfaces are too annoying. This one is so simple and elegant, I enjoy using it. Not just for work (I work as a freelancer so tracking time on different projects is important) but also to track personal activities I want to do more of. I love how I can use it from any of my devices, I love the reporting, and export to csv is perfect for my time sheet and invoicing. Tracking is already beginning to change how I think and work. Fewer distractions as I know the clock is ticking, and motivation to increase the number of logged hours for work, exercise and even sleep. This small app could literally change my life (cant believe Im saying that...) Granted, I only started to use it a few days ago, but for the moment I havent noticed any real bugs.

Love the website integration and the timeline that keeps track of your running time throughout the day. Really well thought out! Setting reminders to stop and start timers is also brilliant =)

Its so intuitive and user-friendly its almost harder to NOT use it.

Some bad moments

The phone interface is nice and works - but there are other iPhone time trackers that are better. What attracted me to this app was the watch interface but it just does not work. Difficult to get a timer to register as started; sometimes the wrong timer will start; and alert that timer not started or running past a certain time completely random. I have spent more time trying to make this work than if I just ran back to my computer every time I needed to switch client timers. When I asked customer support for assistance they emailed and asked how they could help - I told them and have heard nothing back. So, apparently also no customer support.

Bugs you to turn on notifications every time you open the app. No way to turn off the constant, annoying pop-up.

This app is so easy to use and interface is intuitive. But it does not sync the information properly. It looks like a total mess..

(Wholesale update to review) Through a server data problem and subsequent sync problems, a major project was deleted from my account. This resulted in all of the entries for all days for that project simply disappearing, along with the time and notes on each entry. Time was lost. Time is money. Do NOT recommend using the server product. The engineering design of the synchronization and the server operation (corruption of data), compounded by the inability to adequately manage projects results in a 2 star rating. Will continue to use as purely a stand alone product as other features are nice short of the poor project management capability.

Update: Emailed support, waited over a week. Long time user that upgraded to the subscription service...terribly buggy with cloud sync and now deleting the app and cancelling subscription. Going with HoursTracker. Reliable and support responds. Sorry to see you go. :-( Previous review: After signing up for the paid subscription nothing is usable. Fix or Ill have to go elsewhere.

It started good, then the database became corrupted. Two emails for help but no response. Tried some workaround and got my second welcome message, assuring me of customer service. Responded for help but no response. Good Luck and Bye Bye.
