Wish I had this when I was in the thick of working as a consultant. Very useful and well thought out software. The Apple Watch portion is equally well contrived for the use model of watch and watching time.
Wish it had a reminder to check your project timer at a user defined interval. I want to make sure that I am still working project "X" every 30 min and if not, switch to a different project category.
Regardless, clearly built by someone that had a problem to solve for themselves and thank you for sharing with the rest of us!
(Update)
One note, for the small company of 1-5 with a bunch of clients, the service might be a bit pricy? Consider that web hosting the entire company web site costs the same as one user of the Hours service.
Would it make sense to sell an app suite that worked against shared files stored on iCloud for the single user model? Just a thought. Then small companies cloud have their employees use Hours without impacting the Hours server and without some of the consolidated features but allow them to get in the door with exports to Excel and PDF for example. The freelancer model so to speak. $2 for the app on iOS and maybe $9 on Mac (with some expanded features) both talking to iCloud storage in freelancer mode.
