I love this app. It's efficient and user-friendly. It's the best way to track your time across Apple devices, including MacBook, iPad, AND Apple Watch. Their customer service was very helpful in showing me how to use it with the watch. wish it would also be offered for Android users too.

I find Hours the best time tracker for what I am doing. I don't have billable hours. I am working on a Sabbatical project where I need to know exactly how much time I am spending on individual elements of the project. I have downloaded every app there is for keeping track of time. This one is the easiest to accomplish simple time tracking. Every so often I output a CSV file and bring it into Excel so I can clearly see my hours on a graph. Customer support is also excellent. I reorganized my project and needed everything wiped out so I could start again and they were very nice to help me with that. So, yes, five star app and five star support.

I am a small business owner and custom jeweler; using the Hours app for my own time logs on different projects, as well as when I had employees, logging their time on their own devices or iPads I provided. It is so easy to get reports and collate time and, I would be completely lost on projecting how long orders or new inventory pieces take otherwise. As a jeweler, I need to switch between different projects and pieces. Sometimes every few minutes and the Hours app makes that very simple. I used to write everything down on post-it notes and the weekly assessing and collating of that information took almost a half a day. Now with the Hours app, which I’ve been using for around 10 years, I do not have to do that. I could not do my job as efficiently without the Hours app.

I’ve been using Hours to keep me on track for years now. It’s perfect for all the billable construction time across many jobs that require attention in bits and pieces. It’s flexible, accurate, and a sanity saver!

Works exactly like it should, I needed a simple way to track time and here it is! Love it!

No ads easy to use very nice. Thanks. Only complain is that the time slot is hard to Be edited to minutes.

I've never had any problems & have found this really easy to use on my phone & mac.

Absolutely love this app. I love that it takes just one tap to start a timer (others make you start a timer, select the project, select the client, etc), and one tap to end the timer. Amazing. Custom reporting too, so I can see my hours this week, or for the last 10 days, or this month, etc. It’s simple, straightforward, and works great. The only way it would be better is if it had a badge while a timer was running, and/or something on my Lock Screen, so I didn’t forget the timer was on. Oh! And having a widget would be super awesome too ☺️❤️

Simple and easy to use, it gives good data and has a clean design. I love it and recommend it to anyone self employed.

9/22/16: Previously loved this app but the latest update is horrible. Buggy. Overall tracking bar is missing time entered. When changing timers the screen will flicker. Just a bad update. Old review: This is the best work hour tracking app that I have found. Update: the more I use it the better I like it! 06/03/24: still think this is the best app for tracking hours.

Better than others but I’d like to see my activities in day/week calendar format than pie chart or liner timeline

I need a timer for breaks so my employees can press the timer but instead of adding time it subtracts time from the total time that day. The break feature that’s already there just deletes time and there’s no record of it it. The law requires start and stop times be recorded for lunch breaks. So this is key for me. I’d pay extra for it. Otherwise I love this program. Best by far. Thanks!

I have tried multiple time tracking apps as we have to track our time for work. This is by far still the best one. It’s simple, easy to use, label, summarize, etc. Can’t work without this app!

I have been using this App since 2020 to log my work-from-home hours. Though the features are limited with the free version, I got what I needed. Very easy to use. Sufficient if you only have 5 or fewer projects at hands.

I work as a designer so I need to track my time by clients to be billed. This is a great tracker you can switch back-and-forth very easily from tasks and you can easily add or subtract time. I love the reporting ability so I could send my hours for billing either by summary or details. This is the only app that I am willing to pay for, it is worth every penny.

I had two timers. I deleted both and had no timers. I tapped “Add timer” and was told I had reached my limit of free timers. But I had no timers at all. So, I just wasn’t able to use the app.

Easy to use and intuitive. One suggestion would be that if a user is adding a pre-existing/archived entry, the app should allow the option to import it right then and there rather than make the user hunt for it. With that, the app would be ideal, at least for me.

These days, a service is only as good as their customer service. Regrettably, the customer service for this app is horrible. They are scammy and refuse to respond to reasonable requests. Don't give them your credit card information, and do not trust them. A competitor with better support would do you much better.

Completely spammy customer service, refused to refund me when I asked for cancellation ONE DAY after I cancelled. Increase their prices without warning. Do not use this service - you’ll be much better off with one that has quality customer service. I can’t express enough how much you should avoid this app.

Easy to use and comprehensive

Minimal number of taps to use. Love the monthly report. Just wish I could format it the way I want so I could send it as an invoice directly to my clients.

It’s a very good app, I like it, it basically does what you need, time anything… I feel like it could use some work to be more user friendly and features added, but it’s a basic timer app that does the job very well.

I use it weekly for tracking freelance hours. It has great features. I don't pay for it because I'm happy to use it on my phone. I've used this app for at least 7 years.

Would like to put not on what work was done per visit

I’ve been using the Hours app every day for about 5 years. I have a business and work for 2 others as well. Sometimes I jump from one to another, but I’m able to keep my work life organized by quickly switching from one to the other. When it’s time to bill my clients, I always know my time has been recorded accurately. The convenient reporting feature online is valuable, too!

Very easy to use and helpful in keeping track of billable hours when working on many different projects during the course of the day.
