Hours Time Tracking App Reviews

Ever since hours 2 came out it has been nothing but a bother. About as poor of an execution to a significant new version as you can get. Terrible time navigating all the prompts for paying for subscription when I had all the functionality the first time I bought it. Im on 2.02 and its not fixed.

I use this app daily with our entire team using. Happily upgraded to pro version.

I really liked this but 2.0 has been severely buggy. I dont know if Ill keep using it.

Youre being too apologetic for all the whiney people on here. You worked hard and gave a free update. Screw anyone who has anything other to say than, "Thank you for your hard work."

This is the best work hour tracking app that I have found. Update: the more I use it the better I like it!

I have tried every time tracking app available on the app store and this one is uniquely the most functional. The app isnt perfect, but of all of the other choices this is the only one that is routinely updating their app and making it better actively. I use it every day and I find it very effective and I look forward to future updates and improvements.

Hey. Im working as a gardener. Im using your app about 6 months. Im happy to using your app every day. What Im missing in your app: easy connection between your app and another for invoices, connect app with my custommer database, planning for whole week and then just click when Im in the garden. What I dont like. In-app purchases. To buy with all features is more easy. Anyway. Thanx alot. You are the best :)

Sorry guys, you had a great app. Upgrade is confusing for those who jump project to project on a dialy if not hourly basis. The app is no longer useful for my needs.

HoursForTeam.com time tracking for solo work projects is good — via Safari or the dedicated iPhone/iPad application. And the ease of setting up clients/projects/tasks is super easy. But the wholly unexpected benefit of HoursForTeam.com is the ease of adding collaborators on small projects is easy for everyone — wow! Suddenly there is cross-team, cross-project, cross-task visibility of who is doing what, leading to a whole new awareness of what it takes to get work done.

Not user friendly-Save your money.

Run far away. Unless you like pressing buttons for fun. Because your data will only *maybe* stay in the app. I prefer my time tracking to be a utility rather than a dice game.

One of my most used apps over the last 1.5 years; however, v2.0 bugs have been pretty bad. If you plan on using app to track time across multiple tasks / clients, its hard for me to recommend app at this point. Its not reliable.

Update April 14, 2016 I had given up on this app with the recent bugs and tried another. While the other app was robust and had a great watch app I found a major omission. I could archive projects. This was leaving me with a huge list that would only grow. So I decided to try Hours again after seeing some updates to address the bugs. Much better now. I would have given it 4.5 stars because I would love an Hours complication on the watch but I rounded up to 5 stars since the developers fixed the problems quickly. Update March 16, 2016 I really wanted to keep using this app once the Watch app came out but since moving to cloud sync it seems very buggy. The Watch is a perfect way to track time but I often tap to start or stop and nothing happens. Ive lost entries due to this. Ive also been watching my battery monitor on my iPhone and the Hours background task is now one of the heavy hitters. The app is so nice looking and powerful but I cant work with the bugs so Im switching to another for now that seems more robust with a nice Watch app. Hopefully they will work out the bugs with Hours. Previous review Even as a salary worker this is a great app for tracking time. I have to itemize all my charges and this app makes it simple. Every Friday I just email a pdf report to my work email and use to generate a status report for my supervisor. Great app.

Pros: 1. Easy access to clock in 2. Minimalistic Design 3. Reminders 4. The ability to send cvs files Cons: 1. No folder system where I can only view timers specific for a project or client. I dont like having to scroll all the way down to access a timer. Thats the only problem I have, everything else is great. If you could a feature like that, it would be perfect for me.

This is exactly what I was looking for -- simple, yet elegant. Its the perfect app for marking time, and tracking it. Beautifully designed.

Your app is awesome. But it is a little buggy and it doesnt show report in the app. Its better to show summarize by using charts Thank you

I use this app almost every day for tracking time for multiple projects with multiple customers. At the end of the week I export all the info to my office for billing. Also the support team is very helpful and timely

Congratulations, devs. Youve managed to make an application that I previously had paid for and enjoyed using into an unusable mess. I dont know how or what you were thinking but I cant even start a timer now. Time to start investigating competing apps.
